1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WorldLease (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including property owners, property managers, maintenance technicians, and tenants. WorldLease reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@worldlease.com of any unauthorised access or use of your account.
WorldLease reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
3. Description of Services
WorldLease is a property management platform that enables property owners and managers to list properties and units, manage lease agreements, process rent payments, handle maintenance requests, and communicate with tenants.
The Platform provides tools for: property and unit listing and management; lease creation, signing, and storage; online rent collection and payment tracking; maintenance request submission and assignment; tenant application processing; and internal messaging and notification.
WorldLease acts solely as a technology platform facilitating these services. We are not a real estate agency, property manager, or party to any lease agreement between users.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time with reasonable notice.
4. User Conduct and Obligations
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict any other user's use of the Platform.
You must not: upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; impersonate any person or entity; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Platform; use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Platform without permission; list properties you do not own or have authority to manage; submit false or misleading maintenance requests or applications; use the Platform for any commercial advertising not expressly permitted.
Property owners and managers are responsible for ensuring that all property listings, lease terms, and payment requirements comply with applicable local, national, and international laws.
Tenants must pay rent and other charges on time as stipulated in their lease agreements. Late payments may result in fees as specified in your individual lease.
5. Payments and Financial Terms
WorldLease facilitates rent and fee payments between landlords and tenants. All payment transactions are subject to the terms and fees of our payment processing partners.
By submitting payment information, you authorise WorldLease and its payment processors to charge the specified amounts. You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available for scheduled payments.
WorldLease is not responsible for payment failures resulting from insufficient funds, incorrect account information, or issues with your bank or card provider.
Refunds are subject to the refund policy agreed upon in your individual lease agreement. Any platform service fees paid to WorldLease are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
WorldLease does not store complete payment card information. All payment data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors.
6. Lease Agreements
Lease agreements created through WorldLease are legally binding contracts between the property owner/manager and the tenant. WorldLease is not a party to these agreements.
Electronic signatures collected through the Platform are legally valid and binding in accordance with applicable electronic signature laws.
All parties should carefully review lease terms before signing. WorldLease recommends seeking independent legal advice for complex or high-value lease arrangements.
WorldLease stores lease documents securely for the duration specified by applicable law. Users are encouraged to download and retain copies of their own lease documents.
7. Intellectual Property
© 2024–2025 WorldLease. All rights reserved. The Platform, including its design, features, content, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by WorldLease and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written consent from WorldLease.
By uploading content to the Platform (including property photos, documents, or messages), you grant WorldLease a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Platform's services.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that such content does not infringe upon any third-party rights.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
WorldLease complies with applicable data protection laws. You have rights regarding your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WORLDLEASE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
WORLDLEASE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DISPUTES ARISING BETWEEN LANDLORDS AND TENANTS, THE ACCURACY OF PROPERTY LISTINGS, OR THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER ON THE PLATFORM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORLDLEASE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO WORLDLEASE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
WORLDLEASE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.
10. Termination
WorldLease reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@worldlease.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.
Termination does not affect obligations that have already arisen under existing lease agreements. Data retention after account termination is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which WorldLease is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief for urgent matters.
