This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including property owners, managers, maintenance technicians, and tenants. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Platform.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a prominent notice on our Platform.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Platform; to process transactions and send related information; to send administrative messages, updates, security alerts, and support messages; to respond to comments and questions and provide customer service; to monitor and analyse usage patterns to improve the Platform; and to detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

Legal basis for processing (where applicable): contract performance (providing the Platform service), legitimate interests (improving our service, preventing fraud), legal compliance (tax, financial regulations), and your consent (marketing communications).

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With other users: Landlords and tenants share necessary information as part of the lease and property management process (e.g., contact details, payment status).
• With service providers: We share data with trusted partners who assist in operating the Platform — payment processors, cloud storage, email delivery services — under strict confidentiality agreements.
• For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of WorldLease, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, with notice provided to users.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure server infrastructure, access controls and authentication requirements, and regular security assessments.

Payment data is handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. We never store complete credit card or bank account numbers on our servers.

Despite our efforts, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Lease documents and financial records may be retained for up to 7 years after the termination of a lease to comply with applicable legal and accounting requirements.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

WorldLease operates globally and your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
